HR Business Partner (ERM)

As we, at ERM, keep on growing, we are looking to extend our Southern Europe HR team with an HR Business Partner who will support our employees with their skills. You will support employees of the BeNe region, whilst also being part of our EMEA HR team. You ensure that all HR related matters are well taken care of within the entire region.

About the role

As our HR Business Partner you have experience in a business facing advisory role within HR. Together with your team, you will serve 200+ employees. You are dedicated and willing to use your skills to improve the current process and to support managers and stakeholders. On top of that, you will mentor junior members of the team and encourage HR developments.

As an HR Business Partner, you...
  • Assist the HR Director in driving internal HR process improvement;
  • Support the HR Director with policy development and implementation;
  • Support the development, implementation and delivery of the BU People Plan;
  • Support with BU wide and Global/Regional People Initiatives/projects;
  • Build and manage relations with all internal and external stakeholders;
  • Are the Subject matter expert on all employee relations issues, including working with the workers representatives in the Netherlands;
  • Coach managers to have effective conversations, and to create/maintain a high performance culture; work collaboratively with them to understand talent, skills, capability to support succession planning;
  • Support the business with engagement, wellbeing and diversity initiatives;
  • Develop learning and development initiatives in line with Group and BU strategy – conducting training needs analysis and delivering learning and development initiatives in line with the L&D strategy;
  • Regulate Workforce planning and resourcing: understand the recruitment pipeline, aligning resourcing needs with BU needs, taking into account succession and talent pipelines, capability building, redundancy planning etc.);
  • Conduct exit interviews where appropriate, analyzing feedback and any actions that need to be addressed, look for opportunities to improve internal processes/services and work with the appropriate people to implement these changes;
  • Mentor junior members of the HR team.
Requirements for the role
  • You have a collaborative and positive approach;
  • Significant HR experience as HR Business Partner;
  • You have expert knowledge of the Netherlands and Belgium labor law, procedures and processes, with a good understanding of key trends in the HR market;
  • Fluent in Dutch and English;
  • You are empathic and have excellent listening and relationship skills;
  • You must have gained the above HR generalist experience within a professional and commercial organization;
  • You already have some experience in mentoring and supporting managers or people in achieving optimum performance;
  • You have a proactive, pragmatic and commercial approach and want to drive real value;
  • Demonstrate strong listening, communication, organizational and prioritization skills, attention to detail, adaptability and flexibility;
  • Be a catalyst for change, using influence and judgement to drive business performance and results;
  • Good data analysis and reporting skills;
  • Strong problem solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure and a ‘can do’ attitude;
  • You are willing to occasionally travel to other offices across the Netherlands and Belgium.
